Our beautiful baby girl Antonella Alese turned one year old today; February 26th, 2020. And I cannot believe how fast time flew. She arrived into this world in the most chaotic and very frightening way. We thought we wouldn’t make it at various points of the delivery and post-partum. But God was with us and never left our sight. He held us in his hands and protected us from death. And for that, we are forever thankful to Him. Antonella has been such a joy to our family and to our friends. She can light up any room she is in with her beautiful smile, her surprised scream noises, her giggles, her beautiful curly locks, those eyes that melt you and flutter at the perfect time, and with that beautiful doll face of hers. But most importantly with her sweet soul! Which is what her middle name Alese means. She’s also our beautiful flower, which is one of the meanings of her name. And I couldn’t think of a more perfect person with those names and meanings. Antonella was our surprise baby, although sister Arabella prayed for her every single night for over a year. She wanted a baby sister, and she used to ask God every day for her. When I told her I was having a baby and it was in my tummy, Arabella said, “I know that already!” Her faith was so strong! Antonella came to complete us in the most perfect way. I love being a mom to only girls. Murillo is also more of a girl dad, which is why we wanted only girls. Because we know what works with our personalities and way of life. And God knew that even more than us. And so I want to give all the glory and honor to God for allowing me to be a mom of another beautiful baby girl. Because she is more than what I envisioned in my head. She is more than perfect! She is perfect for us! She perfectly completes our family of four and she closed up our baby shop with a bang! Like they say in Spanish, “con broche de oro!” And so we ask God to please keep you healthy, happy, safe, loved, blessed beyond measure (I don’t mean monetary wise, although that wouldn’t hurt 😂), and most of all may He always keep you close to him and vice-versa. The biggest gift we can ever give you is to teach you God’s way, his love, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
