Who else has those little red veins appear on certain areas of the face/body?🙋🏽♀️
<<<SWIPE LEFT TO SEE
These are called Telangiectasia, often referred to as Broken Capillaries or Distended Capillaries🩸These are dilated small blood vessels & are typically caused by over exfoliation, overexposure to the sun☀️, abrasive trauma to the skin, or just simply genetically thin skin. Pregnancy, thin skin, or aging skin can be more prone to this condition. Telangiectasia can be seen in rosacea.
The most effective way to get rid of them is through laser treatment. But there are ways to also help prevent them from appearing 😌 Being less abrasive on your skin, wearing sunscreen daily & avoiding excessive sun exposure 🚫 DO NOT over exfoliate or strip your skin of its protective barrier 👎🏼 And using products to feed & nourish your skin like antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, etc ✨
