I’ve been back on my fitness game this month, and I am LOVING it! 💪🏻✨ With that being said, I want to list 5 things I love about working out that have nothing to do with weight or physical appearance!
1.) It’s meditative for me. When I am moving my body I don’t think about anything else except the here and now. The mind, body connection is a real thing!
2.) I feel stronger. Loads of groceries to carry from my car to my apartment? No prob!
3.) It’s an amazing therapy tool for my anxiety. Doctors used to always tell me, staying active would immensely make a difference for my anxiety. At the time, I didn’t even try it. But y’all it’s a real thing! Staying active daily does wonders for my anxiety!
4.) My endurance is soo improved. I can go on long walks with Townes, take the stairs instead of the elevator and I’m not out of breath. Feeling so mobile is a wonderful feeling.
5.) Building my strength reminds me that I am truly capable of ANYTHING. Which is a priceless feeling ✨🤍 I find that when I focus on reasons like this, staying active is much, much easier. And more meaningful! 🙌🏻
