I remember the day I sold this painting like it was yesterday. This piece attracted a gentleman who told me about a time during one of his travels where he saw a man leading a camel in the desert for the first time. That memory vividly stayed with him and I could tell that this painting took him back to that day and made him feel a certain type of way. It triggered a memory which triggered emotions. His explanation reminded me of the power and effect a painting can have on a person. A hundred people can view the same painting and each and every one of them will have a different experience. To me, this is the beauty of art.
