A spider and her Web..
She spins the precious gem in her grasps... Biding her Time, slowly turning the opal back to nature.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With all the self-isolation, less traffic, less transport, less aviation etc etc.. A slower pace of life has given our wildlife, birds and insects some unexpected and well deserved breathing space to be able to be just how nature intended them to be and re-turning us all fully back to nature for a while ... My kids and I have hung up bird houses and bee hotels....
An amazing infux of small bird species and insects we have had in our garden this year....
Such a joy to hear the birdsong.. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This is a Sneak peek of my latest Handmade yet to be released "Abandoned opal collection" jewels Reclaimed by Nature... This is a small collection of bespoke one of a kind handmade silver pendants, earrings & rings.
Each of them set with rough uncut~unpolished Australian Opals..
I created each piece carving them by hand using the lost wax technique.. This is a lovers pendant set.. 💙
The spider can be removed from the Web and both can be worn as seperate pendants, keeping them both for yourself to be worn together or giving the other to someone special.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
