This morning, I finished up the book of Revelation, and it feels a bit bitter-sweet. Though I’ve read though it before, God opened my eyes to see the beauty of it in a whole new way. Here’s a few things I gleaned from it: -God is a righteous judge and will, one day judge the living and the dead according to their deeds. -God is VICTORIOUS! Over death, sin, satan, sickness, evil—over everything, HE is victorious and nothing can stop Him. Hallelujah! (My heart greatly rejoices with this!) -God is worthy of our praise. No other and nothing else is. -He is coming soon, so we must be ready. -Unshakable hope. Since I am His, I don’t have to fear the end of time, for I know that my life is hid with Christ, and I am justified before Christ by Jesus’ blood alone. And one day very soon, Jesus will defeat the enemy and bring His Kingdom down to earth to reign with His people forever; there, there will be no pain, no death, no crying, no suffering—just an eternity of serving, loving, praising, and enjoying Christ our Savior. THAT, my friends, gives me hope. That no matter what I go through in this life, that promise of hope will NEVER be shaken.
Praise God. He is worthy of our praise. Praise His name.
