🌟8-Angle or Side Crane (Asatavakrasana)... one of my favorite arm balancing postures. To begin this posture sit down with your feet flat in front of you. Grab your left leg and rest it behind your left arm at the tricep or higher. Put your left hand down on the floor in front of the left hip. Place your right hand on the outside of your right leg in line with the left hand. Bring the right leg up to left and cross the right foot over the left at the ankle.
Now is the fun part! The key is everything has to move at once - which makes it difficult, but also so fun when you get lift off. Press your hands down, lift your bum up, and shoot your legs to the left. Once you have more strength and control within the posture, bring your arms to a 90-degree angle at the elbow.
Give it a whirl - make sure you've thoroughly warmed up the wrists and hips - and remember that your yoga practice should be challenging, but it should also have an element of play and fun in it.
