Happy Earth Day! I wanted to share a photo from one of the most beautiful natural sights I’ve ever seen — Grand Prismatic Spring at Yellowstone National Park. The layers of colors always remind me of candy jawbreakers.
This gorgeous sight was juxtaposed by trash that had been blown into the boardwalk area and crowds of tourists who weren’t following simple rules, such as staying on the trails. In fact, I vividly remember walking up to a woman and saying it’s really dangerous to let her child wander off the trail and get so close to the geysers. (Yeah, I seriously had to do that.)
Friends, pick up your trash, (pick up any trash, really), respect the rules and LAWS in place to protect our ecosystems — do whatever you can to preserve this beautiful planet. 💙
