Ageing affects every cell in our body, but our skin is the first to show these signs.
There are two primary factors that contribute to the way our skin ages.
Intrinsic ageing is influenced by changes in our hormones that occur as we age, this contributes to the loss of elasticity and increased dryness and thinning. There is little we can do to alter this, other than to use products to rehydrate and protect dry and thinning skin.
Extrinsic ageing is the environmental factors that attribute to how quickly our skin ages, however THIS is where we can make a difference. Factors such as sun exposure, air pollution, excessive alcohol and smoking, poor nutrition and water intake can all take their toll on our skin health and our prematurely ageing skin.
So, drink that water, use daily SPF, avoid sunbeds, use the products I bang on about and if you need an added super boost contact me for WowFusion or a chemical peel to shed those aged layers of skin!
