I’ve said before how important it is to take pictures of yourself during your journey... well another important thing is to keep at least 1 pair of jeans & T-shirt from the beginning of your journey to compare yourself in! Well I’ve been on my journey for almost a year & this is the first time I’ve pulled out a pair of my old jeans! This wasn’t even the biggest pair I had, but I got rid of my jeans before saving a pair. However this is a size 22 jean (26 was my biggest) that I bought right before starting @ww & look at me now! 🙌🏻😭💕 Ya’ll 2020 has been a rough go for me! I think for a lot of us! My  weight loss slowed WAY down after the holidays & this last month I’ve actually gained quit a bit back with all the stress, lack of sleep & overeating! I’ve been in tears so many days this month knowing I’ve gained weight & have said so many hurting things to myself because of it! 
Here’s the deal though... I have still come so far & this little setback does NOT have to define my journey! This setback is so small compared to have far I have come! I keep looking in the mirror & feeling shame NOT proud... & that is not ok! So I literally just went to my closet 10 mins ago, grabbed those pair of jeans & couldn’t believe what I saw in the mirror!!! I DID THAT! I will not let this feeling of failure I’ve had lately take over this feeling of PROUD I got when seeing myself in those jeans! This process, this journey is NOT always easy! But the things we want most usually aren’t! Keep going! Keep believing in yourself! We got this! ▶️How It Works: measure/estimate 400m- you can use a treadmill, bike or 2 min of jumping jacks if you cant get outside. Complete 3 rounds of each movement. If you don’t have a kettlebell you can use a single Dumbbell and alternative arms swinging. You can also sub air squats if you don’t have any equipment. .

Today was the first day of homeschooling at @holynativityepiscopalschool. So I had to modify my schedule a bit. Let’s say I was happy to get outside alone! This is all such a learning curve for so many of us. I’m confident we will get in the groove of everything soon. I am thankful for all this extra time with my family. We all sat at the table for lunch today which is very rare! How is homeschooling going for all of you? Any tips/tricks? Who has some fun PE games?

▶️How It Works: set a timer for 20 min. Do 5, 2 Min intervals. Complete 20 step ups-In the remaining time complete as many inverted push ups. So if it took 1 minute to complete the step ups, I would have 1 min to do as many inverted push ups. Then rest 2 minutes before starting the next round.  I got between 25-30 each round.

▶️Step ups: I used my fire place but you can use a chair as well. If you have weights you can hold them to make this more challenging (or a small child).

▶️Inverted Push ups: prop for feet on a box/fireplace/chair, make sure your hands are under your shoulders and touch the top of your head and press. You can also go from your knees to make it easier. If you can -do handstand push ups to make it more challenging. You can also sub dumbbell push press if you have weights. .

Pick a TV show and complete while watching. 💪I did this while I had my coffee ☕️ and watched @livekellyandryan 📺 .

12 MIN AMRAP 
20 jumping lunges 
15 chair dips
20 sit ups .

▶️How It Works: Set a timer for 12 minutes and complete as many rounds as possible. If you have kids (like me) that may interrupt you complete at least 6 rounds. Because I was using a weight today it looked like a shiny new toy so they were all over me. So yeah, 6 rounds or as much as you can get in 12 min uninterrupted. 😉

▶️Jumping lunges: you can do this with a weight or Bodyweight depending on what you have. If you are unable to complete jumping modify to step out lunges or even walking lunges. Just make sure you are careful with that back knee. It’s amazing how that rubber flooring in the gym seems so soft now compared to the new surfaces I’m working with. .

. 🦠Quarantine WOD Day 9 (From my friends at @crossfitacr) 12 MIN AMRAP 20 jumping lunges 15 chair dips 20 sit ups . . ▶️How It Works: Set a timer for 12 minutes and complete as many rounds as possible. If you have kids (like me) that may interrupt you complete at least 6 rounds. Because I was using a weight today it looked like a shiny new toy so they were all over me. So yeah, 6 rounds or as much as you can get in 12 min uninterrupted. 😉 . . ▶️Jumping lunges: you can do this with a weight or Bodyweight depending on what you have. If you are unable to complete jumping modify to step out lunges or even walking lunges. Just make sure you are careful with that back knee. ▶️Happy Monday everyone! How is everyone doing? Going stir crazy yet? We are trying to establish a new Monday routine because it sure not NOT feel like Monday. I made my son jump in with me for today’s workout. Of course he would rather play on his tablet but I told him he had to complete this PE credit for the day! 😂

They’ve been posting At Home workouts to do, given us access to Les Mills videos & started streaming LIVE Workouts!! And today was the first LIVE stream workout of one of my favorite classes Cardio Dance, by one of my favorite instructors @beth.move 🙌🏻💃💕 This girl is so amazing!!! My son even joined in to shake it lol🤣🤣🤣 oh & my 15 month daughter danced around too🥰🥳 It was so much fun! We even pushed the dining room table out of the way so we would have more room. Face To Face Friday💛🍀💚 My mini me is my forever lucky charm & my biggest WHY! He is turning 11 years old on April 1st & that day means so many things to me... first off & most importantly that was the day I was blessed with the most amazing baby boy🥰 He is my world! He is kind, smart, loving, hilarious, outgoing, full of personality & just all around an amazing human being! I couldn’t be more proud!!! I could go on & on about that kid... this mama loves him 3000! 
But on my personal note... I gained 75lbs durning my pregnancy & never lost the weight... only gained more! I was well over 200lbs all my 20’s🥺 When he turned 9 I was going into my 30’s & felt so defeated that I still hadn’t lost the weight, but I also found out that month I was pregnant so I had to hold off yet to start my weight loss journey. But last year when he turned 10, his sister was 3 months & I was cleared to workout again... & boy was I determined to do right by my kids by getting healthy! I joined @ww 2 weeks after his birthday & I am 67lbs lighter (87lbs since his sister was born)! I’ve defiantly slowed WAY down on losing weight over the last couple of months, but I have come so far & I’m not about to give up! This kid gives me all the strength in the world to keep pushing forward, when so many other things try in life try to pull me backwards! Transformation Tuesday💚🍀💛 Something I was really looking forward to last weekend was my son & I signed up for a 5K St. Patty’s Day run in Salem, OR but it got cancelled (like so many other runs). We got all sorts of fun green bling & my mom was even going to do it with us. I know we will have the chance to do another one, but the big transformation here for me was the T-shirt... first of one I used to NEVER want to wear T-shirts! If it didn’t have a pocket or was SUPER lose fit, or something I could layer up I wouldn’t wear it! This has been my mantra for the last 8 days!!! I’m going to flood my page with multiple stories, one because I’ve been MIA all week long, but two because I have been getting my workouts in! But ya’ll... the last 8-9 days have been tough & one for the books! Just like so many of you out there I’ve been trying to find a new routine with all this craziness going on. I’m here in OR & my son is out of school until the end of April, so many places are shut down & we are on an advised stay-at-home. 
It took me multiple days of driving from store to store to find diapers & wipes for my baby girl (we almost ran out), days of driving around for TP & PT (almost ran out), multiple days to find break & dog food for my dogs... things I just needed 1 of! Than my mom got sick (no not with the virus, but bronchitis & sinus infection) but I was trying to shop around for her & sat in her car at Urgent Care for 5hrs with her one day. I’m not gonna lie, my personal health is taking a toll mentally! I’ve been getting my workouts in at home, but I am struggling with being depressed & not sleeping... needless to say my weight in gone up a bit & I’ve been in a funk all week! Not having my WW meetings & being around my support group is tough... I almost cancelled this page so many times & wanted to just give up!!! But it helps having my kids home! They are my WHY & I don’t want them to see me give up! They’ve been watching me workout every day & my son even joins (my 15month old really can’t lol). This week has been rough & my weight is up & this month I’ve basically lost nothing... but I won’t give up! This has been my mantra for the last 8 days!!! I’m going to flood my page with multiple stories, one because I’ve been MIA all week long, but two because I have been getting my workouts in! But ya’ll... the last 8-9 days have been tough & one for the books! Just like so many of you out there I’ve been trying to find a new routine with all this craziness going on. I’m here in OR & my son is out of school until the end of April, so many places are shut down & we are on an advised stay-at-home. It took me multiple days of driving from store to store to find diapers & wipes for my baby girl (we almost ran out), days of driving around for TP & PT (almost ran out), multiple days to find break & dog food for my dogs... things I just needed 1 of! Than my mom got sick (no not with the virus, but bronchitis & sinus infection) but I was trying to shop around for her & sat in her car at Urgent Care for 5hrs with her one day. Leg day, with light weights and high reps. Everything was 100reps. In the video I started off with 135lbs with 2 sets of 25 and then had to drop to 115lbs because my legs felt like mush. Definitely felt like I was twerking as I was walking out of the gym 🙄

The situation we are ALL facing at the moment, is out of our control.  We CAN control the way we respond, our OWN actions, our attitude, and the way we treat others. ▶️Wall Walks: starting in a plank position step your feet on the wall and walk your hands in toward the wall as you walk your feet up.The goal is to touch your belly and nose, but this can feel scary at first, so walk as close as you feel comfortable.

If your doing the modification on the chair double the reps.

▶️Push ups: can be done on the floor, on your knees or at an incline to a chair. Just remember to stay tight and touch your chest. .

▶️Lunges: standing in place lunge forward then step back. If this is difficult for you walking lunges is fine. If you have a weight use it. Or you can use a small child on your back! If you don’t have either just use your body weight. Weight doesn’t matter. It’s all about moving! .

▶️You can use a bag of dog food, a gallon of water- or 2, you can even just do just your body weight. You can also use a heavy single dumbbell or kettlebell/barbell if you have it. Just get moving.🏃🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️ .

Decided to deadlift today. I've been using kettlebells and straight leg deadlifts last few weeks while my body healed so I thought today was the day to try it out.
