Red Grape and Lavender Jelly
Friday morning ABC's volunteer coordinator Caroline, along with three volunteers, processed over thirty pounds of red grapes from the garden. Using a potato ricer, the crew extracted every last drop of grape juice before making it into a deep red jelly, canned and ready to be given away as delicious, homemade gifts. The addition of lavender gives this jelly an especially lovely flavor. Do you add herbs to your jellies and jams? What is your favorite combination?
