Never really been a gym guy. Hit it kind of hard after highschool but that was just for the chicks! Let’s just say I didn’t make it part of my lifestyle and it slowly faded.
Fast forward a few years and into my 30’s I’ve come to realize just how important fitness is. I’ve spent a number of years simply abusing my body via drinking and partying. Yeah I hiked and enjoyed the outdoors but never pushed my body to the limit. I had finally had enough. I looked in the mirror and did not like what I saw. It was time for a change.
Are supplements absolutely necessary? Some may say yes, some may say no. My belief is: why not give yourself the extra edge whenever possible? Why not give your body the extra boost and burn to crush a workout and then all the building blocks after to speed recovery and progress? Why not?
I’m not a scientist. I’m not a doctor. All I have is anecdotal evidence. It’s what has worked for me. So try it or don’t. That choice is yours. If you do want to, head over to Dark Mountain and find one of the many Athletes there and ask them what might be best for you.
Plus, you’ll get exposed to one of the best communities on social media. I have met some crazy awesome people that will have forever changed my life. They know, and I know, the best is still yet to come.
