Noble False Widow.
Commonly found in North Africa and Europe, with some being located in Chile and California.
These spiders have very poor eyesight and rely on their ability to use vibrations to hunt down their prey. They make their homes their webs in crack and crevices by spinning many thin siky lines to make a thick bundle where they can hide in.
This female had just caught a small catapiller and is wrapping it up to consume later on.
