Still battling my def/def issue with the #monopricemakerselectv2. I replaced the melzi board, which was expensive, and turned out NOT to be the problem!
I discovered that the thermistor wires were frayed, so I replaced that too (much cheaper). However, the problem persists. Did I get a bad thermistor?
I simulated a working thermistor by plugging one of the fans in to the thermistor leads. Both the bed and extruder heat up. The bed temp reads correctly (the thermistor temp obviously doesn't read correctly when a fan is plugged in). Thermistor #3 is on order. Maybe that will fix it? If not, I'm running out of ideas. A voltmeter confirms the thermistor leads are pulling the correct voltage, so it's not a board problem. Any ideas?

Testing 3d printed boats. Students in the 7th grade Fab Lab class tested a sample of #3dprinted boats, collecting data of how much weight each design could carry. After recording their observations on how the shape of the boat affects its performance, students will be ready to start designing their own boats.
