If you've been to B1 of Jurong Point today, you'd notice something different.
There's a new Japanese multi-concept dining destination called &JOY Dining Hall which opened its doors today. Just that, there weren't any door per se because of its open concept. The official launch is 16 Oct 2019.
Order at your table with your own device to skip the queue! Yes, now we can, as each table in &JOY Dining Hall has a QR code sticker. Scan to load the URL and you'll be directed to a page to place order. Payment via this method is by credit card. Otherwise, there's a kiosk at each partner's stall to order and over there, one could choose cash or credit card payment. For cash mode take the printout from the kiosk and pay at the cashier (located at the drinks stall). Get the receipt and wait at the table where you can see the queue number appearing. Only those highlighted in orange are ready for pick up.
We tried two newly brought in Osaka brands; Roman. Tei and Ramen KIOU. (swipe left for more photos). Roman. Tei presents the beef steak in EXQUISITE Jyu box while Ramen KIOU has an array of unique ramen creations such as Tomato Cheese Ramen.
The wait for food could get pretty long during peak hours, so do key in the orders early! Don't be like us.
Thank you Samantha and RE&S for the invite to preview the spanking new dining hall and the various original concepts stalls available. Sushi-Go, Pittarino, My Gohan where the first two offers is own seating area.
