Yesterday evening, finally, after what feels like years of waiting, I was finally able to chase my first storm of ‘20 with @laurakranich.kiel (not the image posted). What I’m quite missing though, is big time lightning. Yesterday’s storms were very lightning active, but almost 100% of strikes were inside the rain curtain and not visible. Anyway I’ll post images from yesterday soon, as we got some really nice structure!
What a view in southern Germany. I got to this location way too early to be able to shoot car trails, so I ended up standing and waiting for about 1 1/2 hours. But really, the view made up every minute spent. The picture is a blend of 4 images. One for the sky/ clouds, one for the foreground and a couple for the car trails. Getting one shot with a car driving towards and one car away from the church was not possible. It was still way too light for a 5 second + exposure!

A bright meteor captured over the Sylvenstein Dam in Germany.
The track up to this „lookout“ (there is no official track, it’s just straight through the forest) is absolutely crazy. We hiked up in the dark and I’ve never been so exhausted, even though, it’s only a few meters in height. I also had multiple ticks on me when I got back down.
