Pride is about centering and championing the voices of the marginalized. This year, the true, authentic spirit and history of Pride has created a groundswell of community, bringing queer people and allies of all backgrounds together in solidarity with and fighting for the equity of the BIPOC community. This isn’t a moment in time. This is a movement. Pride is forever.

Riot. Uprising. Rebellion. However you refer to the events at New York City’s Stonewall Inn, at the end of June 1969, they undoubtedly kickstarted a global movement for LGBTQIA rights. Today, we’re honoring three key places from each of our global office locations.
- New York City: The Stonewall Inn, where, from Jun 28–July 3, 1969, the LGBTQIA community, led by Black and Brown trans women, said “enough is enough” in response to police raids on queer institutions and launched the modern day LGBTQIA equal rights movement. Today, the parade marches past, on its way to the Christopher Street Piers. - London: Trafalgar Square, the site where the first British Pride Rally was held in 1972 following the creation of Britain’s Gay Liberation Front (GLF) in 1970—which was inspired by the events at Stonewall. Today, it serves as a major spot for gathering and celebrating during the annual Pride march.
– Milan: Porta Venezia, which transforms to Pride Square each year at the culmination of a week-long Pride celebration.
