It was a gift from Dark Carnival in Berkeley. They wanted me to see the Gashleycrumb Tinies pastiche, taking on gun control. It's become Ash's favourite thing to read. He carries it everywhere. And people say "I didn't know MAD was still being published." Soon, now, it won't be any more. It was one of my favourite things. I still have the MAD magazines from the early 60s I bought in Plus Books in West Croydon, and the beautiful oversized reprint editions of the original MAD comics.
