Photo by @ivan_lesica | On a beautiful summer day I decided to take a walk along a beach called the Heavenly Road on the island of Krk, Croatia. While walking I noticed a boy standing on a rock and fishing. The scene reminded me of my childhood, bringing back memories of the countless times I used to do the very same thing on this very beach. I was born on this island and still have a house here, where I spend one month out of every year, and this is the place I always go to if I want to have some alone time.
SONY HX400V, F3.2, 6.93mm, ISO 80, 1/640s. #YourShotPhotographer #beach #nature #boy #Croatia

Photo by Jassen Todorov @jassensf | Thjórsá is the longest glacial river in Iceland. The striking colors and patterns are created as the water flows through volcanic silt and other minerals.
Photographed from a plane. Nikon D810, 70-200 mm, 1/800, f/3.2, ISO 250. #YourShotPhotographer

Photo by @zayyarlin84 | Handcrafted fabrics are very traditional and popular around Inle Lake in Shan state, Myanmar. The tradition of making handcrafted fabrics has today faded into obscurity, and Inle Lake is one of the places in Myanmar where you can still observe this ancient technique. These handcrafted fabrics are made using natural dyes and dried under sunlight. This process controls fabric shrinkage before sending the fabrics out as finished products to the market. #yourshotphotographer

Photo by Aya Okawa @labyrinthiansmile | Rotterdam Port. I'm fascinated by the structure and design of one of the world’s busiest ports, located in the Netherlands, through which move 7.4 million containers and 444.8 million metric tons of goods. From above, the layout of this port reminds me of old-school Atari video games. #yourshotphotographer

Photo by Sunil Gopalan @birdtog | King eiders are some of the most gorgeous duck species in North America. I have found that approaching ducks from the water usually is much easier than from land, perhaps because they are much more wary of predators that usually come from land. So pack your waders! #yourshotphotographer

Photo by @karimiliya | A group of endemic milletseed butterfly fish accompanies a Hawaiian green sea turtle covered in fibropasapilloma tumors on the south side of Maui, Hawaii. Though naturally occurring, these tumors are believed to be expedited by nitrogen-rich runoff and other human-caused pollution making their way into the ocean. #YourShotPhotographer

Photo by @fdilekuyar | Tarhana is a food that is unique to Kahramanmaraş, Turkey, and lasts the longest in the world without any additives. It is made by drying yogurt wheat and a spice mixture on straw mats under the hot sun. This is the only geographic region where Kahramanmaraş tarhana can be made, with its windy and warm climate. After being dried in this way, the tarhana is kept in water for an hour and then boiled into soup. Garlic is also added during boiling. You can also eat it as chips, and it’s so healthy. #yourshotphotographer
