I’m usually pretty succinct but I wrote too much and exceeded the IG character limit so head to my blm story highlight.
No DMs please. I’m already behind and I don’t have the mental bandwidth to catch up right now but hopefully I’ll feel up to it soon. ☺️

Unintentionally using Zoom to monitor my hair growth. Hair grows about 1/2 inch per month so a 5 month difference and accounting for shrinkage, this makes sense.
Also my hair has always aspired to be a mullet. Grows so fast in the back.

I’ve been getting a ton of questions about @shanidarden ‘s line recently launching at Sephora so here’s my progress!
I met Shani at the beginning of February to capture some social content for her launch. She’s amazing and everyone on her team is as well 😊
She gave me the facial of a lifetime (seriously put it on your bucket list, her studio is amazing) and made me promise to use her products for a month straight. I’ve been using them ever since. Three months is when you’re going to start seeing results from consistent use of a skincare product, especially if you have problem skin, so hang in there.
My skin is blemish prone, super oily, prone to congestion, and textured.
Retinol is a do-it-all skincare ingredient that addresses signs of aging, texture and blemishes making it a perfect ingredient for anyone in a skin rut.
In addition to retinol, Reform Reform contains lactic and malic acid, great chemical exfoliants that help to boost your results. If you’re sensitive try her Texture Reform serum which contains aloe vera.
Other skincare I’ve loving lately that’s been keeping my skin in check:
@dermalogica Age Bright Acne Serum: blemish serum that brightens as it heals.
@deciem The Ordinary’s Niacinamide + Zinc 1%: another do-it-all, helps with pores, oil control, blemishes. Also helps with dryness and redness associated w/ rosacea.
@deciem The Ordinary’s AHA 30% + BHA 2%: water soluble AHAs exfoliate the surface of your skin while oil soluble BHAs penetrate deeper and unclog pores.
@glowrecipe Watermelon Glow PHA + BHA Pore-Tight Toner: more BHA bc my skin loves it, also cactus water and watermelon to give it amazing hydration.
I got a lot of questions about hair on my Ask Me Anything so here you go.
I’m wearing @wander_beauty Baggage Claim Eye Masks and @katesomervilleskincare EradiKate Acne Treatment. Dirty hoodie courtesy of me making lemon pound cake from scratch earlier.
Also I’m been very consistent with my @shanidarden Retinol Reform and my acne scarring and texture is improving despite the stress of quarantine.
@idoitforthecurlz cuts my hair and she’s doing virtual consultations if you have specific curl questions.

My love for Glow Recipe started with the Watermelon Glow Moisturizer and was solidified by how kind and amazing @sarah_glow and @christine_glow are. They are female founders goals and I’m honored to call them friends.
I love what they’re doing with their brand (obvi) and their monthly Boss Babe feature on their blog, The Glow Edit is an inspiring look into how other amazing women are killing it in their industries.
I still don’t feel worthy but here you go!

New Sephora YouTube Video Alert: Contour Shade Matching for Deep Skin
My main message is most contouring/bronzing advice you’ve heard is primarily for fair/light skin tones. Brown skin has its own special set of rules and it’s way less complicated than you think.
