Tonight it’s finally appropriate to announce a major life change- a move to Carbondale, CO and a new job at @cripplecreekbc
. This spring was extremely odd- on Feb 15th I underwent surgery to repair a fully torn ACL, and both meniscuses in my left knee. That same week, I accepted a new position at Cripple Creek, and COVID abruptly shut the country down.
5 months later, after moving during the shutdown with @killa
.bee3, Hobart, and Ranger to Carbondale, I am still left counting my blessings to have an amazing job at an amazing company while millions of people in this country are still struggling to put food on the table and wondering about their children’s futures without school. I am beyond blessed.
I walked outside our flagship store tonight to find this amazing sight. Hopefully a sign of good things to come for Cripple Creek BC but more importantly I hope this is a sign that the tide will finally swing in the direction of the Americans who need so desperately a fighting chance to succeed.
Be kind to strangers. Help someone who is down. Listen to people who need to be heard. There is no American Dream if we all don’t have a chance at it.
