Leona (our foster Corgi) is still looking for her forever home! She’s currently adoptable in Greater Vancouver - see below for more details about her and what kind of home she’s looking for!
Leona is great with dogs and people. She’s small for a Corgi (~17 pounds), but she has a big personality! She was rescued from a puppy mill that had bad breeding practices, so she unfortunately has hip dysplasia. She hops around when she walks, but she still loves to run and play. She isn’t fully potty-trained yet, but she’s getting there!
Leona doesn’t like walking on a leash, so a home with a yard would suit her best (for potty reasons). We think she can definitely be taught how to walk on a leash eventually, but she’s still pretty stubborn about it for the time being.
Because of the issues with Leona’s hips, she would prefer a home where she wouldn’t have to use stairs. She is small enough to be easily carried up and down stairs (which is what we’ve been doing), so having stairs isn’t a dealbreaker!
If you live in the Vancouver area and think that you and your home would be a good fit for Leona, you can apply to adopt her through the Petfinder link in our bio! Thanks, everyone! ❤️
