Have you missed shopping in store? 🛍 Cause I know I have 😅- popped into @kmartaus over the weekend and was thrilled to find so many gems but also saddened to see limited sizes left (probs best for my bank balance tbh!) I am THRILLED however that I was able to snap up this $35 @kmartaus puffer jacket. She’s comfy, colorful, warm and best of all generous in size which means you can layer to your hearts content! I’ve sized down to the 8 here but if you want a tighter fit go down 2 sizes. Paired with another killer find $25 chunky sneakers in nude and I’m ready to live my best comfy/cute life 😂😂. Swipe to see how to get this look for less 🙃

Is your skincare routine working for you? I’m back with another installment in my #AskMeAnything series and today we’re looking at skin types Bc I’ve had a lot of people ask me for skincare routines and I always ask them the same questions around what their skin type / concerns are and I’ve been surprised when they don’t know how to identify if their skin is oily, dry or combo. So, I thought pulling this together may help ☺️ I’ve also done a bit of a deep dive into oily skin types and how we can start building a routine to help control excess oil and keep acne and breakouts at bay. Since I got asked a few product recommendations last time, I’ve also included this in the last couple of slides (all of these products I’ve tried/tested and LOVED hence why I’ve included them). If anyone is curious as to which niacinamide I’m using, I’ve just finished up @goodmolecules (loved this one but it is a bit sticky on the skin!). I’ve just started @deciem the ordinary niacinamide and I much prefer the finish of this on the skin. Both these products are at 10% strength and both retail for under $12 AUD so there’s really no excuses not to pick some up. And if you have any more product recs for oily skin gals or guys, drop them in the comments👇🏻.

So, if you guys have been here for a while then you know I am OBSESSED with Keratin Hair Treatments - I get them like clockwork every 3-4 months Bc they make my hair manageable. As some background on my hair journey, I’ve naturally got thick, long, porous hair that doesn’t quite curl or wave when air dried it just goes frizzy which let me tell you is not cute 😅. It also doesn’t help the fact that in my late teens and early 20s I decided to bleach the f*** out of my hair and the result left my hair short, brittle and really rough. Enter Keratin Treatments that add the essential protein of ‘keratin’ back into the hair which leaves damaged hair soft, shiny and silk AF. Not to mention it relaxes frizz and curls..and cuts drying time down by half! The only downside is that it is time consuming and expensive if you have long, thick hair like me (starting at $250!) which is why I was SUPER stoked to find @scaevolacosmetics which is an at home treatment that promises the same results but for a fraction of the price. It’s been a week since I’ve done it and I absolutely love it and highly recommend to anyone who has the spare time on their hands and wants to save some $$ 😊

What’s your favorite part of doing makeup? Mine is always applying highlighter and lips.. nothing pulls a look together more than a touch of glow and figuring out if you’re doing a glossy understated vibe or a strong bold lip. ✨
.
.
Lately I’ve been OBSESSED with @bobbibrownaustralia brick highlight palettes, this one has bronze and pearlescent tones to it and compliments so many different skin tones, I’ve tried it on so many of my friends and it leaves a gorgeous glow on the face that catches the light just perfectly 😍 For lips I’m wearing a convo of @revlonanz lipstick in fire and ice. Outlined with @bourjoisau orange lip pencil to match the 🔥 lids.

Do you do an overnight treatment for your lips👄 It’s a big yes from me, there is literally nothing worse than waking up with chapped lips. .
.
Let me intro you to newest lip mask in my collection: the @laneige_us lip sleeping mask - a cult favourite this leave on treatment promises to exfoliate your lips and leave them looking supple and smooth and oh boy does it deliver. .
.
It’s enriched with vitamin c, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants to lightly exfoliate the lips. The treatment also has an ‘exclusive moisture wrap’ technology which works to release a moisturizing layer into the skin over a span of eight hours, forming a protective film and locking in the active ingredients. All in all it’s a 10/10 from me worth every penny ($28 for 20grams), it also comes in 5 yummy flavors and applies sheer and glossy on the lips despite the slight tint. If you suffer from fragrance sensitivity I would avoid this mask and look for lip masks that contain emollient ingredients such as vitamin e, plant oils and hyaluronic acid to help smooth and fill any cracks in the lips and also occlusive ingredients to lock in and seal the benefits of the emollient ingredients. Occlusive ingredients can be anything from beeswax or lanolin. 🥰

Hi guys 👋, happy Sunday! I wanted to introduce y’all to my new series #AskMeAnything. Over the last 5 weeks I’ve received a number of messages around different skincare concerns from how to customize a skincare routine to preventing wrinkles, dark circles but most commonly how to tackle pigmentation and ensure the skin is glowy AF. Being Indian, uneven skin tone is something I’ve struggled with all my life. My mouth is a few shades darker than the rest of my face and ever since I hit my mid 20s I’ve been on a mission to reverse the damage created as a teenager and tackle the melasma. .
.
I decided it might be worthwhile to compile the information I’ve learnt over the last few years into a thread and I hope you find value in it. Please note: I am not a dermatologist, just a girl who REALLY likes skincare and spends a lot of her free time researching it, particularly in the last few months since I’ve had a lot of time at home 😅. .
.
There was a lot more information i was hoping to add to this thread but unfortunately I ran out of room, so I’ll pop it here: .
.
RETINOL - If you do decide to incorporate retinol/retinoids into your routine, it’s recommended to use retinol 1-2x a week (please start with 1x and monitor your skin for 4 weeks as you may purge) in the PM, you can expect to see results within 6 months. Also, if you doing retinol, you MUST wear SPF50 daily (this is a NON NEGOTIABLE) as retinol makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight which means you're more prone to sun damage if you don't lather up 🧴. .
.
VITAMIN C - In my opinion, vitamin c is a holy grail must add product into anyone’s routine. Not only does it help with discoloration but it’s anti-aging and has anti-inflammatory properties which all leads to glowing skin. Literally, if there is one products I recommend to all my friends, it is ALWAYS a Vitamin C serum. Apply daily in the AM and you’ll notice differences within 2 weeks of application. Don’t forget to follow up with SPF. .
.
If you have any questions, let me know 👇🏻 and if there is anything else you might like to know I’d love to share the knowledge I’ve picked up from reading studies and my own trial and error. 😊

Red lips? Yes or no? 👄 .
.
I LIVE for a red lip but they can be so messy and transfer so quickly which is why I always go for a matte finish when I opt for a statement lip. Also, what do we think of this red/orange/pink combo. I’m kinda living for it - feels good to be playing with colour again. What should I dive into next? .

What can I say, I’m a creature of habit... BUT I am loving how the purple ombré gloss lip pairs well with the eye shade and wild AF hair. .

Can you guess this texture? Here’s a hint: 🍉 + 😴 + ✨ = ?
.

If you answered @glowrecipe watermelon sleep mask, you are 💯% correct 👏🏻👏🏻 now let’s talk about why I love this mask so much. .
.
Firstly, she’s special. Pretty in pink, oil free and has a lightweight bouncy formula which means she’ll be your best friend for combination, dry and yes even oily skin types. But let’s move that all to the side and talk about the ingredients. This product is packed with AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) that work to gently exfoliate while you sleep (to help with the dullness and roughness of skin texture) AND it also contains hyaluronic acid which hydrates and plumps skin. Both ingredients go hand in hand to ensure you wake up looking like a glowing goddess whose skin is hydrated, fresh and plump. And did I mention that this sleep mask doesn’t stain your pillow cases? Genius, right? 🙃
.
.
Apply on a thin layer on cleansed face and allow to soak in for 15 minutes before heading to bed. Personally, I tend to reach for this mask when my skin has had enough straight acids and is looking for some hydration and lighter exfoliating action. 🥰

Do you love long or short hair? 💆🏻‍♀️
.
.
Personally I’m a big fan of long hair but I ALWAYS struggle with split ends and breakage 😩 .
.
For the last 3 months I’ve been using the @bondiboost Hair Growth shampoo and conditioner range along with their Heat Protectant, Intensive Spray and their magic treatment Miracle Mask once a week, and 12 weeks later I can see AND feel the differences in my hair. It feels stronger, shinier and not only has it grown in length but there are less split ends than before. For anyone looking to thicken their hair or add a couple of cms, I would highly recommend looking into BondiBoost and trying it out. #realreviews

Has your skin been dry, irritated and congested? Mine too 😫
.
.
Let’s talk about how I combat dry and irritated skin - firstly I tend to strip back a lot of my products and keep any AHAs/BHAs to a minimum (for me this means every 2 days rather than daily), I also tend to spot treat any hormonal acne with benzac (2.5% pls - don’t get the 10% it will just seriously dry your skin out and nobody wants that. If you already have dry skin I would add an emollient moisturizer on any pimples you spot treat to try to balance it out) which works wonders BUT does dry out your skin which leads me to this mask combo from @summerfridays which always leaves my skin feeling glowy, supple and hydrated. .
.
To start off with I love going in with the R&R mask to gently buff the skin. Not only does it smell AMAZING but it’s filled hydrating oils to lock in the glow. It’s also great for sensitive skin which is why I reach for it when my skin feels a bit textured but I still want to give it some love. To really lock in the hydration, I love applying a layer of @summerfridays jetlag masque which is probably one of my most recommended masks to anyone who asks me what to get. Every time I use this my skin feels like it’s getting a big drink of water, it completely calms it down and leaves it radiant and dewy. I put this down to the list of ingredients with two key standouts being vitamin c which helps brighten skin tone and niacinamide to help smooth out fine lines and with consistent use improve the skins barrier so that acne breakouts and pores lessen. And yes, whilst my skin is still a bit red and texture doing these two steps on a weekly basis have helped combat my irritation and dryness (that and daily moisturizer / oils) 🥰
