Dinner With A View at Ambleside Beach in West Vancouver!

One of a kind fine-dine experience in clear frameless geodesic domes! Each dome interior has a theme corresponding to a different region of the earth’s terroir: tundra, tropical, grasslands, arid and boreal forest. You can stay warm and cozy here and enjoy the food with friends without any background noises or distractions. A blind 3-course menu crafted by award winning celebrity chef Paul Moran is served.

Overall it was an unique dining experience and a great concept which I admire the creativity of it, however, don’t be fooled by its name, there is no view, you can only see through your dome to other people’s domes. I held high anticipation for this dining experience but for its price it doesn’t entirely live up to the expectations. Nevertheless it was definitely a first-of-its-kind fine-dine experience! Have you guys tried it and What are your thoughts ? Would you like to dine in a dome🌐?

The Blue Box Cafe Afternoon Tea Set by Tiffany Co. in HK to indulge into the one of a Blue kind high-tea experience 💙

The blue box has a Very stylish and modern decoration. From the walls to the dish wares you’ll find the signature color - light medium robin egg blue everywhere, not overkilling but rather tastefully done. The atmosphere is surrounded by lots of steel, exquisite blue and clear glass panels and marbles.

The tea set is served with the choice of selected tea or coffee, along with a selection of their sweet and savoury items include:
🔹the Tiffany Bird’s Nest; a Kafaiti nest with marshmallow chocolate eggs
🔹Champagne Pearls; white peach coulis, champagne jelly and white peach pearls
🔹My favorite savory snack was their Caviar Tartlet
🔹I also tried the Tiffany Blue cocktail: light blue cotton candy that will get dissolved as the cocktail was poured into the glass. It was quite unique and was on the sweeter side so it was easy to drink.

Who here is into Tiffany Blue? 💙What is your favourite place for afternoon tea ?

Michelin Recommended Egg Waffle from Mammy Pancakes!

Egg Waffle is my all time favourite HK style sweet snack! Rich taste of cake flavour, half-hollow, half softness in the middle with Crispy round spheres. Although easily found everywhere, Mammy Pancake hands down make the best eggs waffles, they got homemade special recipes for the egg batter and have various flavours to pick from such as Chocolate, Matcha, Cheese etc. They freshly prepare the waffle per order placed so customers can taste the freshest egg waffle! I tried the salted egg yolk and the seasonal flavour sweet potato and they tasted amazing 🤤🤤🤤 .

Have you guys tried Mammy Pancake during your visit in HK or have you tried egg waffles🥚?

What about some street food after all the fancy stuffs posted recently? Back to my 🇭🇰 Hong Kong trip I tried various street foods and hands down these are the best low key food that can be found anywhere in HK. If you travel in HK, your travel experience is incomplete without having this street food adventure.

Here I tried the most popular two items: Curry fish ball and Siu Mai.

Curry fishballs are probably Hong Kong’s most iconic street snack. Nowadays they’re mostly made from flour contain pretty much no fish meat. But this doesn’t stop people from eating them. Springy texture, little bite-sized balls dipped in strong curry sauce. I always get the spicy curry fish balls as I am a fan of spicy hot food.

The next I have are called Siu Mai. These ones are easily recognized by their bright yellow wrappers, this street food version of “Siu Mai” is actually different compared to its pork-filled counterpart served in Chinese Restaurants as a dim sum dish. Simialr to fish balls , Siu Mai’s are made with flour and supposedly mixed with a bit of fish meat. These Siu Mai’s are steamed and served dipping in soy sauce. This is my most favorite street snack in HK.

Let’s wash away that Monday Blue with some bubble tea! I’m officially back to the bubble tea life again!

Mochi Sesame Oolong Soy Milk Tea from Tea Brush from @teabrush in Hong Kong 🇭🇰. There’s a variety of bubble tea stores in HK but I was convinced to try this out because of their very aesthetic appearance🤩, this looks just like one of those traditional Chinese landscapes painting that use a brush and ink 🖤

Also, the Mochi and Sesame combination just sounds too delicious to miss out🥺 and it actually did not disappoint! This definitely reminds me of the traditional Chinese dessert sweet Sesame soup🤗 but now served as a drink with Mochi added. Sooo good 😋.

Mashi No Mashi’s signature Wagyu Beef Tsukemen, Wagyu Beef Donburi and Wagyu Beef Gyozas 🐄

Their meat quality is top notch as they have used Ozaki beef with perfect fat-to-meat ratio. It’s served as large and thin slice on the donburi and Tsukemen. These slices of beef were torched to perfection, smelled amazing and melted like butter on my tongue. The waygu beef gyozas were very juicy and tasty as well 😋

For the Tsukemen, I loved the firm and al dente noodle! Submerge the noodle into the pure wagyu bone stock and you get the most satisfying slurp!

This is a small place that seats 12 customers max surrounding the kitchen counter, from every seat you can see the chefs preparing the food in front of you so that you can enjoy watching as part of your whole dining experience.

And I love how they’d pose and hold the bowl in front of you with a dead stare, yelling some words while serving, it was pretty cool 😎 and extra 😆, I was convinced that I was eating something really special 😉

Would you give these Wagyu dishes a try?

Probably the fanciest and most beautiful breakfast I have ever had in my life! Floating breakfast at @ritzcarltonbali 💙 .

First of all, let’s have a 10 second gaze to appreciate and admire how fancy and gorgeous the presentation is! Not only did the food and drinks look amazing but they were freaking delicious too, this floating breakfast for two has more than enough food for myself and my wife😳. From fresh fruits, to freshly baked pastries to poached egg bennies, everything was a great satisfaction. The only thing I could complain about was that my chilled fresh juice warmed up pretty quickly due to the heat of the sun ☀️ . but come on I chose Bali because of the heat! so I should have known this coming 😂

The fact you can have breakfast on a floating tray in the middle of the pool might not be 100% practical but definitely unique and unforgettable.

As a traveler, would you consider give it a try? 🤩

Back to Vancouver! Snows hit hard and its been very cold!!! This chilliness makes me missing the heat, view of the boundless Indian Ocean and the clear skies back in Bali! I have so much to share with you guys about my wedding trip in Bali and HongKong!

I was enjoying my life with a fresh coconut 🥥 and a pina colada🍍 at a beach but I probably looked more like surviving at a dessert island, sipping a coconut to quench my thirst 🤷🏻‍♂😂 #fail

And honestly having a cold, fresh coconut on a white sand beach under the heat of 40 degrees Celsius is probably the most refreshing sensation I can ever have!!! I want another vacation already 😭
