#ProTip: Photographing a city scene from above? A wide-angle lens can help you shoot the full panoramic beauty below. With a deep depth of field, wide-angle lenses are able to capture both the foreground and background in focus. This helps exaggerate your perspective by making close things appear even closer and distant things look further away. Click the link in our bio for more tips!

#ProTip: Your point of focus is vitally important when you’re photographing small, moving subjects. Whether you’re taking shots of insects or reptiles, try focusing on the eyes! 📸🐍 -

“This shot was taken late afternoon at an iconic rugged coastal spot in southern Australia. Most photographers visit this spot for long exposures with 4 sharp, jagged pinnacles that stick out of the wild surf that crashes against them. I’d made that shot a few times before, so I decided to turn away from the crashing waves and explore. The last sunlight was hitting the top of the rocks as I scrambled through this gorge. I switched to my ultra wide 7-14mm to capture as much of the gorge walls as possible. This shot was also handheld.” - @__cmaxwell__

"This is one of my favorite shots from my trip to Masai Mara. I have been using Olympus cameras for almost 20 years and love the compact size of the system, which is very helpful on trips like this one. Four bodies, several lenses – including the 300mm F4.0 PRO – and all accessories fit into one backpack." - @dirkherppich

“I took my OM-D E-M10 Mark III and new M.Zuiko 12-200mm F3.5-6.3 to Aruba and I am obsessed with the photos that I captured! I took this photo from a 6th floor balcony overlooking the grounds of the hotel and beach. The 16.6X zoom range doesn’t compromise the quality of the image and I could zoom in as far as the people on the beach. Additionally, the wide angle could capture the full grounds. I love this lens because it gives me wide angle and telephoto in one." - @eatlivetraveldrink 🌴

“Creating light painting images in the water is so exciting. This image uses the time lapse feature built into my OM-D. As the camera is clicking away in short bursts, I am simply moving in the water with a light painting tool. Of course having a camera body around the water is no problem. I don’t even dry my hands when making adjustments or checking images. The weather sealing is incredible.” - @the_ball_of_light

"I saw this beautiful mountain with the pink sky in the background while driving from Norway to Sweden. I took a few shots of the mountain and some shots of the moon, which was rising in a different direction. When I got home, I couldn't stop thinking about how amazing it would be if the moon rose above the mountain - so I created my dream shot!" - @naturebylouise

What’s your current travel kit? 📸
“When we hiked up a mountain in Kerlingarfjöll in the Highlands, I was excited to shoot portraits with the 25mm 1.2, wide angle shots of the landscape with the 7-14mm F2.8, all-rounder shots with the 12-40mm 2.8, and shooting subjects far, far away with the 40-150mm 2.8. In my eyes, this is the perfect travel kit. It'll enable you to get all the shots you need without restricting yourself to only a few heavy lenses." - @muenchmax
