Gotta hit them angles 📷 The Leaning Tower of Pisa is actually tilting less than it was 18 years ago, when extensive consolidation work was completed to reverse its slump and keep it from toppling. In 2008, the tower stopped moving for the first time in its 800-year history, and the structure is now back to the tilt it had in the 19th century. Experts say the restoration work should keep the famous tower stable for at least another 200 years (📸 by @henry_do)

These rainbow steps are set to become the largest #pride flag in New York City 🏳️‍🌈 The flag, located in FDR Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island, is made of vinyl and measures 12-by-100 feet, according to organizers. The move is meant to "celebrate the progress that's been made over the past 50 years, and to shine a light on the LGBTQ community's continued fight for the universal human rights.” The rainbow stairs will be on display from June 14 to June 30 🌈 (📸 by @4freedomspark)

Houtong Village in northern Taiwan is a cat-lover's paradise 😺😻😸 Houtong went from a sleepy village of 100 residents to a town drawing one million visitors every year, thanks to its growing stray cat population. Many of the cats, given affectionate nicknames, are taken care of local villagers and volunteers. There are kitty-themed shops and cafes, a pedestrian cat bridge, metal plates featuring tiny paw designs and a cat information and education center (🎥 by @travels.bb)
